Panasonic and Daiichi Jitsugyo - Modular Placement Machine NPM-GH launch
NPM-GH with high accuracy and speed can support Vietnam manufacturing industry to implement Panasonic's concept of autonomous factories
Panasonic Factory Solutions Asia Pacific Company (PFSAP) and Daiichi Jitsugyo (DJK) Vietnam have just introduced NPM-GH – a new Model of Electronic Component Mounting Machine (SMT) to Vietnam manufacturers in July.
The event was held at the Solution and Innovation Center at Panasonic Vietnam Company, Lot J1-J2, Thang Long Industrial Park, Kim Chung commune, Dong Anh district, Hanoi. This event marks a new breakthrough in achieveing Autonomous Factories concept.

At the event, Mr. Akihiro Akiyama, Senior Vice President, Panasonic Connect Co., Ltd. Managing Director, Process Automation Business Division, stated that Vietnam has a great potential to become one of the next global manufacturing centers of electronic products. These innovative solutions will therefore equip electronics manufacturers with the ability to automate assembly process of PCB - an indispensable component in mobile phones, wearables and other electronic products.
"The NPM-GH electronic component mounting machine (SMT) promises the ability to expand operations and manufacture products that meet international standards in Vietnam" he said.

Emphasizing the groundbreaking impacts of the new NPM-GH model, Mr. Keiji Yamamoto, DJK’s Executive Officer, Chief Director of Global Electronics Business, said: "Vietnam currently plays an important role in the global market and in Introducing Panasonic's advanced product Models like NPM-GH to improve productivity and take part in achieving Autonomous Factories."
NPM-GH is designed to limiting irregularities in the 5Ms (huMan, Machine, Material, Method and Measurement) of the factory in real time. Accompanied by Auto Setting Feeder (ASF), monitoring software APC-5M, NPM-GH would support to implement Panasonic's concept of Smart factories. With high accuracy (±10 µm) and a speed of 103,000 components per hour in the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly industry, NPM-GH promises to bring a "breath of fresh air" to the manufacturing industry in Vietnam.
